Welcome to the BlackProfessionalWeb. com Web site. The primary purpose of this site is to spotlight the accomplishments and contributions African-American men and women are making in all professional fields. Who would have thought even several years ago that African Americans would become CEOs of large corporations such as American Express, Timer Warner and Symantec among others. Although we have come a long way and the "glass ceiling" has inched down a little we still have a long way to go.

Each month one African-American professional will be our Featured Spotlight. In addition, we will spotlight several individuals and one African-American business. We hope this site will be an informative resource, facilitate networking, create business contacts, initiate mentoring, encouragement and anything else we can do to help one another attain the American dream.

We encourage you to to bring to our attention any individual African-American or business you think should be spotlighted on our site. Think about your business associates, alumni, family or friends who are successful in their profession and should be considered for spotlighting (and of course you can submit yourself). Submissions can be made by completing the Spotlight Recommendation Form.

In the near future we will be adding increased functionality to the site to include classified advertising and a discussion board. Periodic Informative emails will be sent to registered members on our mailing list.
